Nikon D70s Format Error
They were microscopic. By pressing the button on the bottom of the camera, the D70 will be reset to "out of the box" condition. It has taken 5 days in total. After I disconnected the camera I went to view the pics to see if it did this and it did but all the pics that were left on my camera were weblink
no reproduction without explicit written permission. It may also be an issue with a weak battery or even connections within the card reader circutry. Seems to be a safe download, but the usual precautions about content from unknown sites apply. Next I'd do the full disassemble, take out the card reader and try to carefully reflow the solder on each pin to make sure they are all well connected.

- Something is causing it and I know that there has to be someone out there that had the problem, sent the camera off to be fixed and it was fixed.
- The full process from shipping it to Nikon to getting it back was maybe 4 weeks.

They seem to occur with older more heavily used CF cards, with newer CF cards didn't seem to have the problem. There seems to be two groups. Thanks! Nikon D70 This Card Cannot Be Used Loading...

The problem recently became more persistent, so I sent the camera to LeZot Camera Repair (www.lezot.com)-for $125 they fixed the damaged CF card pins (and cleaned the CCD)-I also replaced the Plus they are now far more expensive than some report buying new Nikon replacements a few years ago. I would say that it wouldn't bother me otherwise but knowing I lost five or more photos I really liked, it irks me.
