If your lens has a mechanical aperture ring, rotate the aperture to its smallest opening, or highestf-number - normally marked in orange. I lock the aperture to f22 but still nothing. On taking one or two frames everything was fine then the next couple were completely overexposed (no change to the settings) and were washed out. Looking for help. It's definitely not a problem with battery/lens/memory card contacts since I've tried everything in the book.
