I think this was a worthwhile price to pay to ensure that the problem didn't recur and that I only had to do this operation once. Adding fresh solder to each pin without bridging to another sounded insane. It seems though that I have some corrosion on the cable that was taken out of the cf subpanel… anyone know if that would have caused the CHA error? Is there anything else it could be?
