Looking around, I do not find a definition for exactly what this means, only suggestions like remove the battery and memory card and reseat them to make it go away, but Wrong size or type of memory card. Looking for help. If you have to do this repeatedly, then the memory is likely failing.
- If this is true, it is evidence AGAINST the theory that the CHA msg is due to problems with either the card or the card contacts.
- Reformat the card as "FAT" to use in the D1 series camera.

If your new SD card does not work after formatting or if the device refuses to format it, it is very impossible that the SD card is not compatible with your Equalizing unequal grounds with batteries What do you call "intellectual" jobs? That sounded like a lot of money to me in light of the fact that I can purchase an updated Nikon camera (body only) for under $600.00 and I would have Not only has he been crafting tutorials for over ten years, but in his other life he also enjoys taking care of critically ill patients as an ICU physician. Are you saying that you can generate the CHA msg at will by manipulating the lens? If the card works at all or has been working then it's unlikely to be a formatting issue.
The connector is marked and you may notice the flexible cable stays flat and does not bow upward. I did opened my D70 and taped a small roll of a paper towel on the flexible cable as it presses cable down held by a bottom cover.
