Nikon D50 Cha Error

I have experienced several different circumstances where the Nikon will throw a CHA or CHR error message. This time for good. the SD card works again. Did you find a solution?

I suspect it's just a hardware problem. check these guys out Put my D300's Sandisk 4gb Extreme card in and hooked it to PC...seemed to work fine first time...then when I put card back into my D300 (no apparent issues re-inserting it), Nikon D50 Cha Error I also got a messege during some of these instances to format my card.
