It has worked wonderfully for the last 8 months...that is...until I arrived in Hawaii. Once the connectors are installed, you can now snap the LCD back into position in its metal frame. If you break this door off you will not be able to secure this cable into position and your camera will probably not be usable! My S8100 lens stopped working properly so I sent the camera in for repair.
