It won't allow me to take a picture, and usually it shuts off within the first 15 seconds of turning it on. Nikon Coolpix Lens Stuck

I did everything up to the tapping step, which worked, however, when the lens finally opened I had no picture, it was just white. I tried gently pushing the lens back in to no avail. Hope this helps, good luck. Basically it means the lens has had some issue while driving in or out of the camera body, in some cases a simple tap on the camera side(not recommended by me)
