I'd say go for it, or it's bigger brother at about the same price, the A570 IS. I'm scared to really try and force the barrel to retract has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it? Thanks again, Vince. I keep using my powerful central vacuum hose to vacuum any dirt or debris from the lenses and actually pull the camera lenses out slowly by suction air.
