Yayyyyyyyyy!! Eventually i slowly applied pressure on the focas len, and the zoom mechinism, when it was switching off, and it make a click. Thank you for the great tips.. Nikon Coolpix L840 Lens Error Thanks for putting this together.
I keep using my powerful central vacuum hose to vacuum any dirt or debris from the lenses and actually pull the camera lenses out slowly by suction air. Your help in sharing will be appreciated, and karma will prevail! I shook or "tremored" my hand while the lens extended and it seemed to work.
