- You can also try disabling the Firefox hardware acceleration.
Disable your anti-virus software and play your movie or TV show again. I also disabled it on Firefox. Having an issue with Netflix? Restart Chrome afterwards and voila Netflix works.
Move the following to the trash:HD>Library>App Support>Microsoft>SilverlightHD>Library>App Support>Microsoft>PlayreadyHD>Library>Internet Plug-ins>Silverlight.pluginEmpty trash, reboot, go on Netflix and try to stream movie, it will ask you to reinstall silverlight. Under Browsing History, select Delete. Watch QueueQueueWatch QueueQueue Remove allDisconnect Loading... Message Netflix, above. -Be an adult, repeated messaging after a mod has asked you to stop will result in being muted / banned.
Reinstalling silverlight did not help me. All rights reserved. Click Open on the prompt that says "Silverlight.pkg" is not from the Mac App Store.
This will sign you out of Netflix.com. Sorry, dont think well be back on line for a few days. Once you have emptied your trash, Microsoft Silverlight un-installation is complete. Please type your message and try again.
Sunday, January 19, 2014 10:46 AM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote Hi ChristofferSp, You may try cleaning the corrupted Silverlight installation and then reinstalling Silverlight according to navigate here I'm reading that some people fixed it by clearing all their history/cache/cookies etc. Yes, I said I spent an hour unistalling and reinstalling. Select Netflix Home, then Member Sign In to log back in and play your movie or TV show again.

EDIT: I just realized the problem magically disappeared for me yesterday (didn't realise I was watching on Chrome instead of Firefox again).
