Nikon Lense Error
Number 4 half worked for me, it would allow it to come on and take photos, but it would still make horrible clanky noises and it can't focus... It is possible that you get the lens error because your lens is of the track or otherwise stuck. Thanks for the post! Thank you so much for your help! Zooming in worked, but zooming out didn't and caused a lens error.I tried forcing the lens by twisting it to the correct position while powering of, and finally it clicked and A lot of people have reported success with this method. I VOTED.

- Pay particular care not to scratch your lens barrel with the needle.
- Dropped my Canon SD600 that I bought off eBay and the lens was stuck out and crooked.
- The lens is recalled by Nikon.
- Just got home yesterday and i tried tip #7 today.

With Samsung's release of the Galaxy S4 Zoom, I'm really curious to see if this will also be a issue/problem with this camera phone (and other phones with optical zoom). jdolly, I can try. In desperation, I gently twisted the smaller lens barrel clockwise (looking at the lens front on) just after switching on the camera and hey presto, the lens motor whirred into life!I They fixed it or replaced it for free every time.
