Nikon Coolpix Lens Stuck

There was an obvious click and slight realignment of the lens as it dropped back into place. Finding the tips on this page I tried pulling on the lens as I turned on the camera. If the above fixes didn't work for you, then please read through the reader's comments, especially the newer ones. Any ideas?
