I tried gently pushing the lens back in to no avail. I used my fingernail on the little plastic protector to pull the lens out. This way, the lens motor might be able to overcome any resistance provided by dirt particles that failed to dislodge during the blowing process. I sent it back twice to repair the battery latch, but it busted again, so I just use a rubber band, or tape to hold the compartment closed.
