Take that cable and plug it into the the AV input slot on your digital camera. Miraculous results, it worked and continues to work! the lens wont budge and i dont have a budget to fix this PROBLEM. any other suggestions or steps in what to do when i open it up? They fixed it or replaced it for free every time. Sorry to hear about the sand.
- When I went to use it the light was on and the screen said there was a lens error.
- Also, you shouldn't open the camera to clean the sand if you don't feel confident in doing so.
