Nikon Coolpix L11 Digital Camera Lens Error
Okey, the lens is inside the camera. Take a picture and view it on your computer using a card reader. my nikon coolpix s3300 i dropped andlens got stucked.. now everytine i start the camera it flashes lens error and turns of my camera. his comment is here

That release the jam and now works fine! Digital Cameras Lens error my nikon coolpix l11 fell onto the floor and the lens got jammed. I have tried everything you explain in the site but nothing happens.

If the lens extends even further, grab it again at its furthest extension, preventing it from returning. Nikon Coolpix L11 Digital Camera Lens error When I turn on my Nikon Coolpix 2200, the lens does not open and a "lens error" message comes up on the screen. Its amazing! Matias,As mentioned, these fixes only seem to work for less than half of lens errors. i don't know if someone dropped it when i wasn't home, whatever it is, it doesnt work. The connections along the top of the circuit board appear to have broken instead of bending. weblink There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the \012probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional. ...

I've never dropped the camera, the battery is fully charged, and i can't think of anything that could be wrong with it. Variations to Fix #7b include gently pulling, rotating, and/or twisting the lens barrel while hitting the power button. The coolpix is a "movie" camera but a very poor one at that. He says that when he took the camera out of his pocket, he noticed that the lens was half extended and open. There are other techniques listed from readers there that just might work for your situation. When you looked at it the lens "hole" was sideways and it would not retract completely inside the camera.
