You'd have to have a handful of lenses to achieve what this camera can do.It is not pocket sized (unless you have large pockets).You can buy Nikon filters or get an I think I am going to try throwing it down the stairs to fix it. I have paid 312EUR (400$) to the Nikon Repair Centre in Spain (Finicon) in order to fix the Coolpix 5700 lens error. This is important because this unit goes through a charge at BREATHTAKING speed. Agggrhhh!!! It's troubling to see all of these comments. I also included a strongly worded letter stating my views about the design and reliability of Nikon products. Unless you're doing action photography this shouldn't be a problem.
