DO NOT attempt this without at least some knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems. First here's a video summary of most of these fixes, and following that a detailed text description of the fixes. is so damn frustrating. BUT I DID THIS BEFORE THE PAGE LOADED.

  2. You can now align the cable so that it slides into the connector - but this is quite tricky.

I had the same problem and nothing I tried worked.

I guess I tapped hard enough to break something inside, it looks like a small bulb that is also now white... Then, I had the original problem with the "Lens Error" message.
