thank you sooooo much. I i tried the pushing it in and its gone all funny. When you looked at it the lens "hole" was sideways and it would not retract completely inside the camera. okay so i have a Casio exilim 10.1 mega pixel and i dont know what happened to it. weblink

I think it has more noise as the lens moves, so how long it will last is the question. I went down the list of fixes - and #6 worked!! (Banging it around a bit).
