Clearly, the camera is the problem.It should be noted my D600 has never been dropped or damaged. Is there anything else I can try? just the solution i was looking for. Try cleaning the CPU contacts on the lens with a dry cloth and re-attach the lens again. “ERR” indicates an error with the camera body or the lens. You save my day!

It wont release the flash.
