Changed the lens and bingo! Thanks in advancrClaire SoperMy camera is blocked even though I emptied the memory card (via my laptop) but I still get the message "Full" with ( 0) ? I tried briefly removing the battery and card as well, no success. if you google the message it is in YouTube and it a simple procedure to take off the back and loosen the wheel, all explained on you tube. If anybody did the same letting battery in camera for couple of months and got same issue, please update me the resolution ,,….. There is usually an aperture ring lock to stop you accidentally twisting it, it's a small orange notch on a switch, and the lenses smallest aperture will be marked in orange It does not appear to occur with my 24-120mm VRII lens.

- The solution is pretty simple - all you have to do is dismount your lens and clean the lens contacts, then clean camera contacts and mount the lens back on the
- I have the camera set to take single shots not continueous, so I wouldn't be able to take a "burst" of shots, Just one shot everytime I depress the shutter release

How much will it cost to get this problem fixed? Since reading your post I checked a number of other sources, and one basic answer evades me. The F-- error message is indicating the camera and lens are not communicating. It's definitely not a problem with battery/lens/memory card contacts since I've tried everything in the book.
