The error message always comes in this order: Err message first .. I unmounted the lens, pushed the lever inside the camera that controls the shutter to where it should be, replaced the lens. I powered down, pulled the lens, battery, and cards, reassembled, and got the same message. After 40-50 minutes of video, I tried to shoot a still and got an ERR and no image recorded. The best thing to do is to format the memory card inside the camera instead of formatting it on a PC or Mac. The problem does not appear to occur in the P mode. - F0 Not so much an error code, but if you see F0 on your display it means the lens hasn't been twisted all the way and locked in place.

On taking one or two frames everything was fine then the next couple were completely overexposed (no change to the settings) and were washed out.
Sometimes the buffer error r16 will appear in the control panel, but if I just turned it on, there was no buffering occurring then!?! Not too long after I started testing, the screen occasionally showed a blinking Err. Put a new battery in and got the ERR code. This is almost always a problem with the memory card; you'll need a memory card with a faster write speed.

If you are sure that you have a memory card inserted, try taking it out and putting it back in and see what happens. It's definitely not a problem with battery/lens/memory card contacts since I've tried everything in the book.
