Nikon D300s R21 Error
On my D700, if I do a long exposure, the LENR setting performs what is called Dark Framing – an exposure of, say, 30 seconds is followed automatically by a 30 r09 means thats how many images you can take before the BUFFER fills up, not the memory card - I'm not sure why I said that before!! Haha, sometimes google makes no sense, so maybe start looking for really weird things... It's telling you how many images the camera can take before the memory card fills up, that's why it's only happening when you press the shutter button. The first one went fine, but at the second presenttation an hour later, the room was darkened for no good reason (which drove the ISO up to 6400- should have turned hi sorry don't know why it replied twice. - An r40 means there are approximately 40 frames that can be shot in continuous release mode before it has to wait until writes to flash are complete.
