Cant figure it out.

- On a 50mm f/1.4 the smallest aperture is f/16, but on the f/1.8 it is indeed f/22.

My lens worked on other cameras and my camera worked with other lenses. aperture?0Is it stupid to purchase AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D over AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G to save a few bucks?
