Nikon D700 Error Code Fee
Frustrated looked on google and found you! And perhaps to let you know in case you never heard about it. I gently bent it back with my hand and it works perfectly. I freaked sending my D700 in for repair, spending 300 bucks, just to get it back not fixed. I set camera to normal mode (not B/W), I even put a fresh charged battery in, and I have a disk in that I know is formatted and works fine. BUT it seems there is definitely something wrong with your camera, if when set to continuous it will take only one image, and none in single shot. Nikon Aperture Locking Switch
The solution is fairly simple and quick to do. That doesn't really make sense though. CHA/CHR This means there is a problem with the memory card. I was worried but now my worry is when it(THE ERROR) will be back????
- I had to turn off and camera and on each time to get rid of the Err although I could continue to shoot ignoring the Err message.I tried cleaning the contacts
- I put my lens back on and got a regular reading.

- So, I just set my camera on a seat next to me and started recording.
- FEE is supposed to mean "the camera expects the aperture ring to be set to minimum, but it isn't", so something in that mechanism would be where I'd check.

All was well for 50 or so photos when for no reason the camera seemed to develop a fault.
